- _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics 4. Used to distinguish users and sessions. Expires after 2 years.
Cookie-free analytics
Ahrefs Web Analytics can measure aggregate page views, referrers, devices, approximate location and events such as consented affiliate-route exposures and outbound clicks without cookies or persistent identifiers. Google Analytics records the earning destination URL in DPR's custom affiliate event; DPR's custom Ahrefs event omits it, although Ahrefs can separately capture outbound-link destinations automatically after consent. A qualifying route view requires at least 50% of the link to remain within the browser viewport for 500 continuous milliseconds; a deliberate click records the matching route exposure first. The event is deduplicated by page, product, merchant, network and placement during that page view. Automatically observed views exclude checker-generated product results. Neither service receives checker measurements, filter answers or scroll position in these events. Both analytics services remain blocked unless you click "Accept". Optional Fit Passport browser storage
The Dog Fit Passport creates one dpr.dog-fit-passport.v1 localStorage record only when you select Save locally. It may contain the optional dog name, neck, chest and back measurements, coat state, current product or model, current labelled size and save time entered in the tool. The record stays in that browser profile and is not sent to Dog Product Reviews, included in analytics or added to the page URL. It is not created merely by viewing the page or by accepting or declining analytics. Use the passport's Clear control, or clear browser site data, to remove it.
